How can i tell if im getting alzheimers?

im not able to remember things like i use to
Answer:
I'm a nurse. This is a normal sign of getting older. You could just be stressed, don't worry. But people suffer from more than memory loss, they can't remember to do their personal cares, forget where things go or how to preform simple tasks. You need a proper diagnoses, see a doctor. Take care and all the best.
Go to a doctor, they can tell if you have it, if it's beginning, and how big it is. You can't determine that by the naked eye.
I think you start wondering alot about the "here after".
When you enter a room, you wonder "Now what am I here after?" .........smile :o)

Don't worry about it too much. Memory loss is normal as you age. I think worry just makes it worse. Try to tell yourself "My memory is getting better" think positive. Vitamin B12 might be helpful also. Ask your Doctor and good luck :o)

How can I stop coughing?

I've been coughing because of post-nasal drip because I've had a cold for over a week. My husband keeps me up late watching movies in bed so I can't get proper rest. Tonight my cough kept me awake and then woke him up and he whined at me right before telling me to go sleep on the couch (our tiny love seat couch) because HE needed his precious sleep. How can I stop coughing so I can go to bed? I'm sooo tired....
Answer:
What you have to understand is that the coughing is simply a response to the post nasal drip. In order to cure the cough you have to cure the nasal drip issue. Sometimes this is caused by a virus and it can be nearly impossible to get it to stop. And it can, at times, take weeks to get it to clear up completely.
With that said, you should start with something like Claritin or the generic version. If this doesn't do it for you, try others like sudafed or actifed, even benedryl, but it will make you considerably more drowsy.
All of those work wonders for a standard runny nose but this post nasal drip issue is a bit different and its difficult to deal with.
Menthol or rubs will do absolutely nothing medically for you. Sure, it "feels" cool when you breathe it, but it doesn't do anything for your nose or anything else. As far as steamers or misters, well, unless you just need more humidity they won't do much for you either.
Stick to the anti-histimines and try to find one that helps you. You might have to try a couple or even combine a couple. In the end you may just have to wait it out.
And tell your husband to get a grip. No offense, but he needs a dose of "who the he.. are you",
You should buy some Vicks Vapor Rub, it's amazing, I just got over my worst cold yet (I lost my voice and everything) in 3 days by using it.Also blow your nose alot, when you wake up coughing blow your nose and drink some water, it helped me alot.On the other hand, tell your husband that if he needs to sleep so much he should sleep on the couch. =)How rude, lol. Your sick, he should be comforting you.
Get some cough syrup, just make sure it's the right kind (some kinds can make it worse). You can ask the pharmacist about it.
try using an anti histamine to dry you up.
visit a doctor to make sure that it is just a drip and not a more serious infectious cough.
Why not consult a doctor?
take some niquil or sleep aid. also try taking a warm bath before you go to sleep. when u get out dry urself and put some vicks rub on ur chest. also drink warm liquids b4 you go to sleep. like tea. good luck
Kick him in the balls and tell him to quit whining about the pain. It won't help your cough but it'll shut the inconsiderate bastard up. Tomorrow, get some Delsyum (over the counter) cough medicine.
drink alot of laxative....then you'll be afraid to cough. =)
Try a nice soothing tea. If that doesn't work or you do not like tea try some throat spray before you go to bed. You can pick it up at your local Walmart of Walgreens.
It s hard but i would recommand you to take thera flu it s a liquid you put in the cup after you broil hot water and pure it in the cup. and cough drop i got the same thing as you and i take a lot of rest that would cure it a little faster.
if u could trust this just try 3 days u will feel perfect............drink honey in hotwater before u go to sleep and when u wokeup.........apply good quantity of vicks vaporup on ur chest throat and back, wear some tight T Shirt and avoid urself from any kind of breeze just go in blanket and sleep all night well..........if u dont have allergy u must try vicks steam....if u hve allergy simply try steam without vicks....inhale from Nose and throwout from mouth......Good Luck never allow cough to prolong its some thing very very dangerous.
Try running a cool mist humidifier in your bedroom while you sleep. An tussin Cf cough syrup is awesome. But look around you room make sure nothing is dusty because dust can make you cough as well as well as feather pillows.Hope you feel better:)

How can I sell a kidney to the black market?

Answer:
Please tell me you're kidding. Not only is this incredibly dangerous, no reputable doctor will remove your healthy kidney to sell on the black market. This is dangerous and a stupid thing to risk your health over.I do feel very badly for those who've been on a waiting list for some time, it must be so scary...but selling it on the black market even with the best intention is not the way to go about it. I doubt you could keep the kidney healthy enough for transplantation without constant care under a doctor. If you want to help someone, DONATE it.
ebay
you can;t do that it is illegal
It's illegal....whose kidney do you want to sell anyway? If it's one of yours DONATE it.
This site is probably a good place to start.
If thats what you really want to do,,why not the lagel market. There are tons of people waiting %26 hoping to keep living with a kidney donation.Contact your local hospital for information.
Get a hold of the kidney waiting list. Find a match and go from there
Move to a third world country, get into dire poverty and be taken advantage of by a rich person who needs one.
go to little italy, nyc. trust me.
Karma, Think about it! Sell your kidney illegally and your left with just one. If it fails, you will hope that someone give you theirs for free.
1. buy a boat
2. change your name to "one-eyed jack"
3. Swasbuckle the high seas steaing kidney's
4. Go tgo a mob boss, sell him a 6 pack of kidneys
5. wait for the millionCHA CHING!
What would happen if your one remaining kidney crapped out and you had to buy your own kidney back for double the price? Oh wait... I just answered a question with a question... my answer to your question is "I dunno."
dunno---but why would u want to?
You may need it.
Try L.A. everything starts there, saw that on dateline or something, they also give ya $800 for a Non needed sweaty palms operation, So you could get two operations for now reason, a couple of dollars %26 risk your life in process.
Sounds good to me if your that desperate or dumb ***, Go Forth %26 sell them kiddo.

Talk to Dr. Christian Troy or Dr. Sean Maclamara. Awesome plastic surgeons. Just type thier names up on google and it will take you to thier practice.
Get some mederma and make sure that you don't go into the sun until the scars are fully healed. If they are really bad you may want to see a dermatologist for a chemical peel

How can I remove scars on my face quicker?

I have acne and Im REALLY irritated with the scars they leave back. Sometimes I even scratch them so its even worse. Do you know any recipes to remove the scars quicker? PLEEEEAAASE help!Thankies :D!
Answer:
1. DO NOT PLAY WITH YOUR FACE.
2. if it is really bad, see a dermatologist instead of a beauty consultant. dermatologists can provide you with a list of medical soaps and creams, etc... to help you heal your face. and it always works!
I am 26 now, but I remember my acne days, and my dermatologist was the key!
go to a dermatologist
i have found a product that does help erase scars, i got in a car accident and cut a huge gash in my left eyebrow. Needless to say i was horrified and searched for anything that would work! Emu Oil! i swear by it not only for scars but also burns! it has a distinct smell but you can mix it with your face lotion or wash it off after 20 min. give it a try. If you cant find it. contact me. i will send you some. by the way it speeds up the healing process. do some research on it. you will be amazed if you do actually try it.
Don't touch your face - you will make it worse!!Red scarring will fade over time, so try to reduce new outbreaks by washing your face twice a day or using a treatment.this might be of help: http://outlawacne.com/scarring/acne-scar...

How can i remove rough, dry skin from my heels?

Answer:
Oh my gosh!!! I have the perfect solution for you. Arbonne has an awesome salt scrub to remove the dead, dry skin and body care set containing a body serum and hydrating lotion that does wonders! The products are botanically based and do not contain harmful ingredients such as alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, mineral oil, acetone, etc. They are water based for maximum benefit and will deeply condition and hydrate your skin. Lotions that contain mineral oil, the molecular structure of which is too large to penetrate the pores of your skin, sitting on the top layer like saran wrap. Products that contain mineral oil get wiped off over time and have little to no benefit. This is why you find yourself reapplying your lotion three times a day. Scroll through the pictures in the attached website. There are some amazng before and after results. I think that it's best to try a product first to ensure that's it's beneficial to you before spending your money. If you're open to giving it a try, I'll be happy to send you a free sample.
With a pumice stone. Buy them at the drug store.
Following a warm/hot bath, you would be advised to make use of a pumice stone. This is a piece of volcanic rock frequently used for this purpose. Often on sale and obtained from the chemist/pharmacy.
If the skin is 'beyond' your means to reduce, a visit to a chiropodist would be the next choice.
Hope this helps

I really love the pumi bar that Sally Beauty Supply sells. They cost less than $2, come in a variety of colors and are great. I have tried so many others and this really works the best!!! Make sure to follow with a good foot lotion after wards (Arbonne Intl has a great foot cream-- I believe it has 4%ABH-- most others only have 2%)
get a pedicure =)
I sympathise with you, as I have this problem....and I have to make sure that I file my feet everyday, and use a special heel balm for cracked %26 dry feet afterwards.Whilst you are mean't to soak before filing, I tend to file, shower %26 moisturise. My feet were in bad shape at the start of the summer, but I am pleased to say that whilst not 100%, they are pretty close to it. But you have to be disiplined, and make sure you keep up with the filing!Hope this helps:-)
Neoteric skin care for diabetic's works really well. It's called "oxygenated Advanced Healing cream". I use it on my feet knees elbows and even my face to help my dry skin caused by being diabetic. Look at this link: www.neotericdiabetic.com
You should soak you feet in warm water, then remove the hard skin with a pumice stone. To complete the treatment finish off with a deep nourishing moisturizer.
at night: soak feet in warm water (after a bath or shower), use pumice stone, put on a very thick lotion or vaseline and immediately put on socks and go to bed...also every day use a salt or sugar scrub in the shower to exfoliate and then put on a regular lotion...

How can i remove my dry skin of my face?

Everytime i finish showering a couples later after i dry up my face gets all dry and skin is all flaky. I put lotin on my face and then later my skin would get oily. What should i do or change to get better skin and remove oily and dry skin
Answer:
Hi try these tips and see how they work for you.1. Increase your water level. Drink up! Make sure to drink at least 8 glasses of pure water a day to keep your skin and body properly hydrated. Drink more if you鈥檙e super active.2. When washing your face put some milk in the water first. This takes hardness out of water and is kinder to your face and body. Add a tablespoon or so of almond, jojoba, olive, or hazelnut oil to your bath water after you鈥檝e soaked for about 5 minutes. By soaking first, your skin gets plumped up by the water, then by adding the oil, it will seal in the absorbed moisture.3. A lavender, rose, or German chamomile aromatic hydrosol sprayed onto your face, neck, chest, and hands helps to keep your skin wonderfully refreshed and hydrated.4. Limit hot water contact. Avoid long, hot showers and baths, especially during cold weather, as they dehydrate the skin. Warm showers and baths for a short duration, though, are beneficial to dry skin. Also, limit bathing or washing you face to once a day, usually right before you retire. When you arise, apply a bit of herbal facial splash or toner, or spritz your face (and body, if it needs treatment as well) with an aromatic hydrosol and you鈥檙e ready to go.5. Use only gentle cleansers. Avoid cleansers such as deodorant soaps and harsh abrasives. These can cause your skin to feel like a dried-out Thanksgiving turkey. Use a PH Balanced soap like dove. It wont dry your skin or make it oily.FOR OILY SKIN
Buy yourself some Lemongrass Night Gel. You can get this from a Pharmacy (chemist). Or buy some pure tea tree oil and mix it with a carrier oil. Apply to your face every night. You can buy this from a health shop.
an exfoliator.
you can buy it at your local convenience store.try the noxema brand.good luck!
Drink lots of water
wash your face only once a day!
For facial cleansing, I use Cetephil liquid cleanser as I have sensitive skin, and it doesn't irritate it at all. I also read in Paula Begeon's book "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me" that one can mix a bit of baking soda with the cetaphil and get a light exfolliant. Please remember Not to put too much pressure as that can only irritate your skin more and even cause broken blood vessels and loosen the elasticity of your skin. It's much more gentle than the St. Ive's almond scrub. Perhaps you should consult with a dermatologist too.
read tips on skincare and more to help you better on this site
Use a good moisturizer or I suggest you try using Zenmend Derma Lotion from Zenmed or Autopalm from Skinstore.com.Zenmend has no side effects and it's non-irritant to the
skin. It's proven to works fast and it povides Maximum
results! It's certainly a good lotion to prevent further
outbreaks.Another product that I think is effective is Autopalm. This
dry skin mlm is one of the best seller at skinstore.com now.
(Skinstore.com holds more than 10,000 skin care products) It's pretty effective, and worth the dollar paid out.

How can i remove a birthmark without going to the doctors?

please help
Answer:
i shouldnt think you can, they are pretty permanent things. You could research some laser surgery, but i think you have to be referred by doctor 1st
thats difficult
I don't believe you can, since it would involve removing skin or the use of the correct kind of laser.
You cant and dont think of attempting to remove it yourself. What so wrong with doctors? They are there to help.Other is a private cosmetic clinic. Expensive.
good luck
you can't. dont mess wiht your skin wihtout a prescription from the doctor. it is difficult tor emove a birthmark without an operation. doctors have seen enverything don't worry just go and let them see it and you will have your mind at ease.
i accidently removed a birthmark from the end of my pinky finger with a cheese grater, it was purely accidental but effective.
Hope i have been some help to you
If it's a normal mark on your skin, try make-up (foundation %26 concealer) to hide it. Ask someone at a make-up counter to show you how to apply the make-up flawlessly. If it protrudes slightly from your skin, sorry, I think doctors would be a great help.
Go to medical school for 6 years, do a residency for 2 years then spend 7-10 years becoming a competent plastic surgeon, being sure to pick up the appropriate qualifications along the way.Alternative, find someone who has done this already, it may be quicker.
a brillo pad, and some diesel.
gets some ice on the brithmark to numb it leave the ice there for a while , get a knife chop it off simple! ... otherwise i wouldnt advise u to do that tho
Have you ever tried using Dermablend? It won't get rid of your birthmark but it should be able to cover it up so no one can see it. :-)

How can I relief from demon attack?

Answer:
Get someone to tape it so you can make money off your demon. Once you are finished getting enough proof on film (documentary)that you are being attacked. Get real life examples, like floating or super human strength. Talking backwards, speaking a language unknown to you, but is a real language. For the final act, you find Jesus as your personal savior ( however if you are actually possessed. Enter a tough man contest, or strong man contest. Then get an exorcism by a Catholic priest with his helpers present after the demon is gone, then you find salvation in Jesus.) Hosea 13:4.....Luke 10:17.......John 6:39-40.... 1John 4:4......Peter 5:8......
throw your harry potter book at it
Alka-Seltzer.
Since it is a spiritual attack you can not physically treat this wound. You must ask God to take away this ungodly affliction. If you are an occultist consider this a warning from God and as far as I am concerned these attacks will keep happening. This is what satan does to occultist. Go to God and escape the pain. email me at uziell3@yahoo.com to learn how to escape.
the point is..... laugh at the demons, don't fear the reaper man...WE NEED MORE COWBELL!!!! dun dun dun. dun dun da da dun dun dun DA DA.
I'm catholic (hmm, kindof catholic) so I'm going to say an exorcism I guess.
I think that you really should see a doctor and talk to him
about it. good luck.
Throw yourself out the window!!
(Romans 10:13) 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”. . .Prayer is vital, use God's name and ask for protection. And stop any practices which invite the demons into your life - dabbling in the occult and spiritism is dangerous.
Get rid of any books or other items associated with these things.
Imagine a bright bubble of protection around you, and the light pushing out to release the entity from your body. envision a door in which it is pulled through. The door closes, and it is released to its rightful place.
Find a genuine Christian and have them pray for you. Better yet, get several Christians together.
Listen to Take That's song Shine there is a line that says 'don't let your demons get you down, it might cheer you up.
Go for an exorcism, guaranteed to relieve all everyday demon attacks ! GGrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!
Was the demon human or of another entity,or was it perhaps the demon that we all have inside us at times? Your question is too vague to answer properly! Sorry.
Salt, sprinkle around the room, keep some on your person.

How can I reduce the appearance of stretch marks and get rid of them?

Answer:
Stretch marks are one of the most common skin conditions. Most treatment methods for stretch marks attempt to eliminate the condition altogether. In most cases, these products only fade stretch marks but STRIADSIL a bioactive topical formula reduce the appearance of existing stretch marks. It includes a proprietary combination of skin firming agents, elasticizers, and skin hydrators. The wrinkle-reducing compound in Striadril actually makes your skin appear tighter and firmer.
Cocoa butter! Especially during pregnancies! I heard Maderma(sp?) works too
sorry, your stuck with them :(
Laser treatment. It is very expensive. That is the only way. The creams and lotions don't work.
Stretch marks can be reduced by applying palm oil which works so good and you won't believe it. They are found mostly in african shops. You can also usec different kinds of oils but it takes a long ime before it works.
you get the biggest eraser you can find! then you chide yourself they connect together......
you can't... i lost all of my baby weight and then some... i have exercised and actually have a very flat stomach now but the stretch marks are still there...
Maderma cream - bought at Walmart or Target - they keep it behind the counter sometimes, but no Rx is neededAlso use a lot of cocoa butter along with the Maderma
You can't sorry.
There is no lotion or cream that can get rid of strectch marks. Laser surgery is not a definite solution.

How can i reduce my body weight & pimples from my face?

i go 2 school ii do not get time. any fast treatment.
Answer:
Lay off the grease.
Sauna..1hr 3 times a week.makes u sweat and cleans your pores.
Try calorie counting and just make sure you don't eat too much bad stuff in one day and you can put off weight without actually having to work out...as for the pimples I'd suggest washing your face in the morning and night every day and go to a dermatologist and ask for Finacea...it works really well without drying your face out
avoid oily food and junk food and wash the face regularly .
1.wash your face whenever possible(even before bed)
2.Use a standard soap.Do not use too many cosmetics.
3.if the oil on your face is not controlled consult a doctor.
try to go school on foot. dont use lifts, prefer fruits and vegetables,Physical workout is good for your both problems , so play outdoor games, visit to a dermatologist or a skin specialist as soon as possible
Add one tbsp of honey with one tbsp of lime juice mix it and have it twice a day you will find a change in your body weight.
wash your face five to six times a day in cold water with a week of time you will find some difference.
Do not pinch or squeeze the pimples. Allow them to disappear on their own. At the most, you can wash your face with a decoction of neem leaves. For reducing your body wt, you should drink atleast 4 litres of water and exercise in the gym for atleast 45 minutes or do yogasans for atleast one hour in the morning. Dinner should be frugal with less or no carbohydrates like rice, chappatis and potatoes.

How can I protect my vision?

Answer:
You can help protect your vision and from high risk for glaucoma.I encourage you to have a comprehensive dilated eye exam at least once every two years. Do take some supplements for your vision that contain vitamins and minerals such as the Rogisen.
Wear sun glasses, a lot of vitamin A..
According to doctors and encyclopedias on the internet, a lot of eye damage (especially to people with lighter eye-color) is caused by UV radiation. So you should probably put sunscreen on your eyes, I guess.
dont look at dirty pictures
Polarized sunglasses. Regular sun glasses will not protect and may allow the pupils to dilate and allow even more retinal damage by sunllight.
Please use sunshades that will protect your eyes in bright sunlight. I use them when its not sunny. Take vitamins and eat right. Plenty of veggies and fruits. I have bad eyes and protect them. Better now than to use a cane when you go blind.I would be up a creek and couldnt see to answer questions here.

How can I prevent nose bleeds from occurring in cold dry weather (not how to cure them if they occur)?

Answer:
Take a small amount of vaseline and dab it in each nostril
I work outside in the cold and it works for me
keep your nose moist.
NasaCort will cure it. Get the fine spray. the heavy spray is terrible.
A humidifier helps.
Most nosebleeds occur during the winter in cold, dry climates. If you are prone to nosebleeds, use a humidifier in your home. Use petroleum jelly (Vaseline) or a saline nasal spray to keep your nasal passages moist. Avoid picking your nose or blowing your nose too vigorously.
If the nosebleed is related to another medical condition, such as liver disease or a chronic sinus condition, follow your doctor鈥檚 instructions to keep that problem under controlExposure to dry air, such as in a heated home in the winter, can contribute to the problem. Adding moisture to the air with a humidifier or vaporizer will help keep the nose from drying out and triggering more bleeding. Another option is to place a pan filled with water near a heat source, such as a radiator, which allows the water to evaporate and adds moisture to the air.
go to a drug store like london drugs and look for special nasal gel that you can put into your nose (it is kind of like vasaline) Comes in a tube like toothpaste (but a lot smaller- it white with red writing...) I don't remember what it's called-sorry..You could always ask the ppl at the pharamcy to help you find something.
I had to get the gel a while ago because my nose would dry out and bleed all the time. The gel works wonders..
My wife had this problem for years, not just in the cold. Her doctor used a chemical, and burned the inside of her nostrils with it. That has fixed the problem for almost 15 years now.

How can I prevent kidney cancer?

Answer:
There is no sure-fire way to prevent cancer. But if you take good care of yourself, eat lots of antioxidants and fiber, and drink water to help keep you hydrated and flush toxins out of your system, the odds will be in your favor.
Be Healthy
=)
There is no way of protecting against cancer!!

How can I prevent from snoring?

If you know how to prevent from snoring, let me know.
Answer:
Snoring is typically a sign of breathing problems, and an indication that you aren't getting a good night sleep. There is a related problem called "sleep apnea" which you can read up on, which affects millions of americans.Snoring is complicated because there are so many factors that can make it hard for you to breathe. A common factor is a flap of skin that people must have an operation to remove. Other factors can be your bed (how much support it gives), weight (heavy people have more weight on their lungs which makes it harder to breathe when laying down). There are special nose strips which are adhesive "springs" which use tension to flare the nostrils and eliminate this problem (blocked nasal passage), and get more air.Sleep apnea, which is accompanied by very heavy snoring, is remedied by a machine with a face mask and tubes that go into your nostrils. It provides a constant airflow (and actually works a lot of the time if you can stand going to sleep this way).Eliminating snoring will help you get a better night's sleep which will improve your health and mental facilities. However, it is a somewhat complex problem so a certain amount of trial, effort and patience is required on your part to solve it. Good Luck!
sleep with a sock in your mouth and see what happens are go to the doctors
Try BreatheRight. It opens up your nostrils so that you can breath easier so that you don't snore.
Go to a doctor and get checked for "SLEEP APNEA". The doctor can help you with your snoring problem.
nose strips work for my hubby! if they did not he would be sleeping in the dog house....lol
There are many, many causes of snoring. This can include a recessed jaw line (making the throat area smaller), being overweight = more infringement on the oropharynx (throat area), a large uvula (hangy ball thing in the back of your throat), large tonsils, obstructed nasal passages, lung diseases, sleep apnea, and more. Please see your doctor as some of these can be very serious. The right treatment/prevention is based on the exact cause, so you need to determine exactly what that is. Best of luck.
Here is another vote for Breathe Right. They are amazing.
Try sleep strips, they look kinda like band-aids, but open up your nose so you can breath better.Sometimes people have Sleep Apnea, which has be diagnosed...but causing snoring.
They have nose strips and medicine for that
Lose weight, Don't sleep on your back, Use nasal elastoplast.....If you consisitantly get a poor nights sleep maybe you need a referral from your GP to query sleep apnoea...this can be resolved with a CPAP machine (Continious Positive Airway Pressure)., to prevent periods of breath holding (apnoea).
"SA16" has the most correct answer to your question. Treatment depends on cause! Whoever it is who snores needs to have the snoring evaluated by a doctor. Any diagnostic studies ordered, which includes sleep studies (polysomnography) and referrals to specialists will be based on the initial evaluation.
get checked for sleep apnea SOON I have it. Ask for a oximeter test. I called the mfg . regarding strips the said not to use for sleep apnea
Try breathright. there are nasal sprays, nasal strips, and chewable tablets
After anesthesia, when patients still very sleepy, a simple way to open up the airway is to put the patient on his or her side, the lateral position, sometimes called the "recovery position". Otherwise, the prevention of snoring involves getting a sleep study, possibly using a "CPAP" machine that uses a mask over the nose to provide positive pressure that keeps the airway open, or to have certain types of surgery. In extreme cases I have even seen patients with "mini-tracheostomies". Weight loss may help. Snoring is not a harmless affliction. It can be associated with periods of very low levels of oxygen in the lungs which over time causes strain on the heart and cardiac disturbances.

How can i make spasm mode?

Answer:
What?????
Let's try that again. What exactly is your question?
P.A.M. treatment is particularly helpful for those with very chronic back problems associated with marked rigidity and stiffness of the back. It has also proved itself to be extremely helpful for those with spinal curvatures (scoliosis) helping to improve the mobility and markedly reduce the discomfort. In some cases there has even been a reduction in the degree of curvature. It is also extremely useful for those who wish to have periodic maintenance treatment to prevent the development or recurrence of back problems. The device was invented by mechanical engineer, Robert Taylor, who, in the early 1980's was asked by a doctor friend why it was that the lower back and the lower neck were the regions of the spine most commonly affected in those with back and neck pain. From Robert's point of view the answer was quite simple. Using the analogy of an aircraft wing Robert pointed out that the strength of the spine comes from it鈥檚 flexibility and elasticity. Observe an aircraft wing in flight, particularly in turbulence, and you will see it flexing up and down quite dramatically. This means that all the stresses acting on the wing are spread throughout the whole wing. If it were rigid all the stresses would focus on where it meets the fuselage of the plane and the wing would soon break off.Similarly in a healthy flexible spine the stresses on the spine are spread throughout it鈥檚 length no part being subjected to undue stress. However over time, due to the various lifting strains, falls, sporting injuries, accidents and work injuries that we experience, our spines progressively lose that flexibility and the stresses become focused in the lower back where the spine joins the pelvis, as well as in the lower neck. These two areas consistently show the greatest susceptibility to wear and tear, degeneration and spinal disc problems. Now that Robert had so easily identified the problem he was then asked whether he could come up with a solution. This was not so easy but after 14 years of research, including becoming a student of anatomy, neurology and body movement, he came up with Power Assisted Micro-manipulation (P.A.M.).The advantage of P.A.M. over other techniques used in the treatment of chronic back problems where the spine's flexibility and elasticity have been lost, is the powered handpiece with it鈥檚 four "bionic fingers" which work steadily but persistantly to free up the joint restrictions with much more persistence than even the fittest and strongest practitioner could achieve. Additionally the "bionic fingers" can be made to act like small reflex hammers which can be used to normalise the spines nervous reflex activity. It should be noted that this "Biomechanical Instrument" has been specifically set up to be totally safe even on very old osteoporotic spines. The P.A.M. equipment works in three different modes: In SPASM MODE the pistons of the bionic hand move extremely quickly stimulating spinal reflexes so rapidly that reflex activity is "jammed" thus helping to eliminate muscle spasm. In REFLEX MODE the pistons move at a slower speed but still fairly fast. As the practitioner moves the bionic hand up and down the spine normal spinal reflex activity is restored helping the spine to function in a balanced way again. In MOBILISATION MODE the pistons move at a much slower speed while the practitioner guides the bionic hand up and down the spine freeing up the movement between the vertebrae. These restrictions in movement between vertebrae may have taken months or even years to develop. The combination of normalising the spinal column's controlling reflexes plus the freeing up of restricted vertebral movement help restore the spine to a more youthful / functional / pain free state.

How can I make a homemade cure for pimples?

I get lots of pimples, but i wanna make a homemade cure. Like if there's something I can put on them or do to them. Anyone have any suggestions?
Answer:
You could try to mix crushed aspirin tablets in water. I read that Mary Tyler Moore -or - Marlyn Monroe did this. I don't remember which of those two did it, but I guess it worked for them. I don't remember where I read the article but they said to make it like a paste and to only apply it directly on the blemish and let sit until dry. Then wipe with damp warm clothe.
I actually use this remedy on occasion and it will take down the swelling of a pimple. It did for me anyway.
*If you get any in your eye, don't panic. Just calmly head to your sink and flush out your eye until clear. I wouldn't reccomend rubbing as this may cause it to burn more. However if you cannot keep your fingers off of your eye, you may close your eye and gently and carefuly do so.
**If someone would be so kind to inform me how to create my own topic? I would be very thankful =D
place a dot of toothpaste on each blemish at bed time this does clear them up
Toothpaste usally works....sometimes or just go to a dermatologist
the only thing i can tell you is to stay away from anything sweet.wash your face often and put Clearasil on every morning and night or whatever the pkg says.
crush up a little asprin and mixit with lemon juice to make a paste and then leave it on over night.

crushed asprin, or asprin powder mixed with water%26 toothpaste .

Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has
been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up." you can get it at the health food store, or in some super marktet health food sections.

How can i make a facial rash go away?

I have this small rash on my neck right under my right side jaw, and it's from shaving. Like if i don't shave for like more than a day then the small red bumped area goes away, but as soon as i shave it comes back. I've tried washing it with anti-bacterial sopa afterwards, and yes i replace my razor about once a week, so i don't know why it keeps doing that. Is there any kind of methods are creams that i can use to make this go away? And it didn't use to do this till around 3 or4 months ago when it just all of a sudden just started appearing. Just explain some methods or anything to help make it go away. Thanks!

How can i know whether my skin is oily dry or normal plz tell me tips find in home?

Answer:
ok... i think i read it smwere... u getup in the morning..... before u wash ur face... take a tissue and wipe ur face... if the tissue has fot some grease or colour...then ur skin is oily otherwise its either dry or normal..... but u may have a mixed feature... like ur nose may be oily and cheeks normal.... so check out!! (did that help?)
Well...if your skin is extra oily, you have oily skin (like me), if your skin is peely or dry, you have dry skin. If you skin has just the right amount of oil, you have normal skin. If your skin is oily, wash it when you wake up (in the shower) and before you go to bed with a mild soap (or a product made specifically for oily skin) to help prevent breakouts. If your skin is dry, use lotions to add moisture to your skin. If your skin is normal, just use mild cosmetics to prevent breakouts and oiliness and dryness.
when you get up at morning check your skin show some oil in your skin or is more dry or it equal not oily and not dry
Do you own skin type test. Here's a good reference.

How can I increase my ejection fraction?

Answer:
1.Take the medication your Cardiologist has prescribed without fail.2. GRADUATED exercises ,using a pulse meter to control your heart rate limit. Preferably in a cardiac rehabilitation center, initially, under the supervision of a doctor.3. Avoidance of ALL the risk factors that you surely know all about.Good Luck
exercise with moderation especially as you begin. then gradually increase--even walking will help
If you have heart failure, your cardiologist will probably put you on a variety of medications that can increase your ejection fraction. Basically, there are a lot of areas that can be adjusted: increasing how strongly the heart beats, decreasing the blood pressure, optimizing the amount of fluid in the body, and making sure the heart rate and rhythm are in the normal range. If there are structural problems causing heart failure, such as valve disease, surgery can correct those.

How can i immediately remove spectacles of -1 power ?

I am a 15 yr old scool going boy studying in class 10. I recently went to a eye doctor for my chekup. I found that i cannot see distant objects clearly and he gave me spectacles of -1 power. I am feeling very nervous in wearing the sectacles. I think it will develop some kind of complex in me. I want to know how can I remove them. Is there any medicine or minor operation? The doctor told that at the age of 20 yrs I can get a laser surgeory done and my spectacles will be removed. Is it possible? Pease help me in my state of nervousness and fear?
Answer:
Laser Surgery.or contact lenses
Yes is true...the laser surgery exists and is a common one....no complications....
be cool is not that bad to wear glasses and if not wear contacts!
See till you attain the age of 20 years you sight will keep on varieng and hence even you correct your sight with laser now it will change therefore the doctor rightly stated that he will perform the laser after you become 20 untill such a time you can choose to wear contact lens if you want to avoid spectacals.
I will recommend confirming with the physician that if your lens has problem or is it due to the lack of nutrition. In case you have lens problem, then laser surgery should be undertaken. If its due to lack of nutrition you might have to take some food supplements for some duration, and they are helpful!
dont use contact lens. But minimise wearing the specs.take the life easily. there are people who are born blind.
and there are people who are born with eye defects.
you are very very very lucky.
eat lots of greeens, cod liver oil tablets and carrot and vitamin A rich stuff. eye sight will improve within a year.all the best.
once u get eye site it cannot be removed, dont be nervous there was no immediately solution. u can slowly reduced it,by taking vegetables like leafy and fruits .
And stop watching t.v for a long time
.There was a possibilty through lenses then there was no use of spects .But it was too senstive u just take suggestion from doctor.
why don't you wear the spectacles now and switch over to contact lenses at the age in which you can have them after consultation with the eye specialist.
Meet another doctor of same field. He will make the same operation at the age of 18. It is minor surgery but costly, amounting above Rs.10,000 for both eyes. If you have got numbers to only one eye, it may be cheaper to you. Just relax for 3 years and wear contact lense till then. This operation is not covered under mediclaim insurance. You see 30 per cent people wearing spects around you.

How can i get rid off my eye circles?

Pls help! It really looks bad, cause it makes me look like old.
Answer:
Proper sleep. Good diet. Good skin care. (Good facial soap and moisturizer).
PAT your face dry. You will tell the difference if you rub your face dry or pat it dry.
The rest is genetics.
If it doesnt get better check out under eye make-up, I'd suggest from Perscriptives. I have them naturally and use it to lighten my under eye circles and it blends well.
Stop smoking, and drinking so hard. Don't do meth. or coaine and plastic surgery.
Paint thinner (acetone).
Eye circles only happen at certain times of year. The best way to get rid of them is to wait till it warms up.Try preperation H. If it's loose skin around the eye? Seriously!
Drink loads of water- about 2 litres a day (this is about a big diet coke bottle sized) it has to be water as dark patches under your eyes are often (if not genetic) a sign that your livers over worked.Your liver is what gets rid of and holds on to all the toxins in your food (additives, preservatives..etc chemicals, alcohol fags....) and the more of these you consume, the more your liver gets overloaded and tierd, it gets stresses and your eyes get bags and dark patches. Fizzy drinks, fast food, sweeteners, alcohol, smoking, drugs, they all add stress. Stop or at the very least, calm down these and in about 2 weeks it should get better.Other suggestions are- that it could be an iron deficiency- check this out by getting a blood test done, It could be a part of who you are and if it runs in the family there is not an awful lot you can do,or it could be due to lack of sleep (again this would put your liver under stress and your body likes to clean itself of toxins while you rest- hence you needing to pee as soon as you get out of bed- thats your liver getting rid of all the toxins you consumed.Good makeup tips are loriels new liquid foundations, - after cleaning and moisturising, pt this on all over your face to even it out, if you still are aware of there being too big a dark patch, dab on a little conceler- no.7 is good, bidyshop is good, rimmel is good, then go for a smoky eyed look- I am not joking- I do this when I have big bags! you need greys and silvery eye shadow, thick black eyeliner and lashings of black mascara!
I just picked up a really great concealer today. It's Neutrogena Skin-Clearing Oil-Free concealer. It's fairly cheap, but very good. It has salicylic acid in it so it's good for keep yours skin clearn and won't get cakey. Ya that's about all you can do is just get some good make up to cover it up.
Try cucumber slices.
I wish I knew I have had dark rings under my eyes since I was a child and some days are worse than others.
plenty of early nights if you smoke stop and eat and drink healthy oh and drink loads of water
And what is wrong with looking old?
cover girl make up range really helps
avon does a good eye cream

How can I get rid of these scars?

I had gotten chickenpox when I was 13 from my friend's 4yr old niece and eventhough, I took the oatmeal baths I was still left with chickenpox scars on my back. They're not as bad as they were, but I never wear shirts or dresses with my back showing. Where I live it gets really hot in the middle of March and I'm tired of sweating because I'm ashamed of my scars. Can someone tell me how to get rid of them?
Answer:
Scars are, unfortunately, very hard to get rid of, short of plastic surgery. However, you can still use a vitamin E cream (not lotion with vitamin E, in it). I've had my share of scars, (I used to kickbox, in the ring) and I found that by buying vitamin E gel pills (they have liquid vitamin E inside of them and you normally take them orally) and breaking them open and smearing it directly on my scars, that after about a year, they were only about 1/2 as visible as before. It's now been 20 years and many of them I can hardly locate, so "time", also, does heal all wounds. Don't be too self conscience about your scars, though. Remember a singer named Seal? His face suffered severe scarring, but he believed in himself and not of others, negative thinking or comments, and he is a successful, happy person. Beauty, starts inside. Believe that and others will too. If they don't, then they aren't important or worth a second thought in your life anyways. Hope everything works out for you.
Well, you can try some vitiman e, coco butter..there are so many remedies out there now for scaring....
Mederma is an excellent ointment it's sold over the counter costs about 25 bucks for a small tube which doesn't last very long so get a big tube or be prepared to buy a few ITS WORTH IT,follow the directions on the box

How can i get rid of the redness on my cheeks?

My cheeks have always been very red, especially in the winter months. It seems like in the last couple of years the redness seems to get more blotchy and red. My dermatolist doesn't seem to think it's roseasa. I was thinking of trying Proactiv Solution because it says it can help reduce redness. Has anyone seen results from Proactiv ( for red, blotchy cheeks) or does anyone have any other ideas that might help reduce my redness?~ in need of help!
Answer:
Try using vitamin K cream, it can sometimes take the redness down.
my daughter has this and her allergist said that it is severe eczema.
I'm not sure how to get rid of it but I can help you cover it. In the health and beauty isle of any store look for the cover-ups with a green tint in them. The green is great at covering the red spots.
metrogel .75%--- apply topically to red areas twice daily....follow up with hydrocortizone cream used same way.
The redness you are getting could be winter dryness, but it could be also a result of damage that you caused your skin in the summer. Redness is called erythma. Avoid the heat and the heat of the sun. Heat can cause skin thinness(atrophy) Don't put lotions containing oil on your skin in the summer, it traps in heat and makes your face hotter.

How can I get rid of the dots on my nose?

I went to a dermatologist, and she saild they were hair follicles, NOT blackheads. The black dots are the most visible, but if I look closely, I can see little hairs on the surface. She said I could only "diminish" their appearance by using retinol. I exfoliate and use Biore pore strips regularly, which helps take away the fuzz, but the black dots (I'm guessing the root of the follice) are always there. I'm thinking about going to a facialist or getting laser hair removal/electrolysis, but I really don't know what is the best solution. What can I do?
Answer:
Laser treatments would probably work best. Electrolysis is very painful.
You're special the way God made you. By the way, I'm always anal about having clean pores, and I think everyone is going to be able to see how gross my face is sometimes, but the fact of the matter is that we scrutinize ourselves much more than anybody else (unless you are a fashion model or something). Looking in the mirror, you are seeing things so much closer than practically anybody else. So, relax, everything is probably fine. Just be happy to be yourself; I'm sure you are a beautiful girl when you get the frown off your face about the hair follicles!

How can i get rid of poisoin ivy rash overnite?

Answer:
No real over night cure but cortaid on the rash will relieve the redness and taking Benadryl will relieve the itch---good luck--I hope it's not in an "embarrassing" place which is why you want to be rid of it over night????
you cant. but if you use the good stuff that cures poison ivy then it should go away in a few days.
It will never happen. A real poison ivy rash can be soothed, but won't go away overnight, because it involves trauma to the skin in the form of blistering.
You can't, the best stuff on the market though is called Ivy-Dry. It's pretty expensive, but you can get it at any pharmacy and it will clear it up in 1/10 of the time other stuff will, and keep it from spreading.
Make a paste of PLAIN oatmeal, uncooked, with a little water. Put the paste all over the affected area. Keep it on as long as you're able.Keep doing this "all nite" and it will take the itch out and suck out the Poison Ivy oil -- but as to whether or not it'll happen overnight, I guess it'll depend on how bad the rash is and how soon you've started to treat it following the exposure.
neutralize the itch by zapping the oil.....

How can i get rid of pimples?give me some good home made remedies?

Answer:
Use a little Listerine with a Q-tip it is an anti-bacterial. Also as a preventive get a bottle of either witch hazel or rubbing alcohol. Use cotton pads out of the health and beauty section and wipe over face at least two times a day. It will hurt at first but it is worth it.
toothpaste makes them smaller and less red
Put a small dab of toothpaste where there is a pimple but be sure its not the gel kind. Also, taking an ice cube and rubbing it on your face helps too.
wash your face more often and keep your hands off of your face
transfers oil
ProActiv works best... but home remedies.. use some aloe vera gel... or really just wash your face all the time.. so less oil....
No matter what you use...
you gotta cover the basic first...

1.Keep your skin clean
2.Drink lots of water
3.Avoid oily food
4.You could use a paste of masoor dal as a face pack regularly. Not only does it help you to get rid of pimples but also keeps your skin really smooth.
Dear First understand why pimples come. Knowing the real problem is the best solution. Pimples come due to firstly changes in our body at specific age and due to disorders in our stomach. In both reason heat is in base. This stomach is the biggest friend as well as enemy of a healthy body. If it is clean and working in order then heaven and hell in reverse.
Now your problem.....PIMPLES. ok1. Follow routine in your daily life.
2. Give fuel i.e. food to ur body timely.
3. Drink lots of water.
4. Getup early in the morning and drink 1 litre of water. it will be difficult in begining. But start with one glass at least. It will work as a flush to ur somach. Better if u keep water in copper vessel in the evening for morning.
5. Take fresh air means morning walk.
6. Before you go to bed must wash your face.
7. When you get up in the morning again wash your face.
8. keep cleaning ur face occasionaly.
9. Reduce intake of oily food and faty food as meat, puri etc.
10. NEVER NEVER tamper the pimples it will leave mark. If broken I suggest to apply some Fitkari (I hope you understand what fitkari is as you seems to be an Indian Manisha).
Last but not least I wont suggest to use cream, acidic cream or any other lotion.
But yes you can uply grounded cucumber or Turmeric and Sandal (Chandan) paste but home made.
Dont believe on market promise for their tubes, creams etc It may not suit your skin.
to get rid of pimples drink goat's milk that how they got rid of pimples back in th 1500's and use toothpaste an get proactive that stuff really works.

The fastest (and easiest) way that I get rid of pimples.Things You'll Need
A tissue
A little nail scissor Instructions
STEP 1: Wash your hands and face
It's important to be clean while you're doing this. STEP 2: Open the pimple What I mean by this is take the little nail scissors and cut off the top of the pimple. It's better if you don't touch it prior to cutting the top off because it remains sharper and it'll be easier and less painful to open it.

STEP 3: Squeeze or wipe the puss off of the pimple. The only reason why the pimple is there is because it has puss in it. Don't listen to others and how they say don't pop it. The faster you pop it, the sooner you'll have it off of your face. Make sure you squeeze all of the puss out or else it'll heal and remain on your face. STEP 4: Wipe off the blood .Take the tissue and wipe off the blood that leaked. This gets the area clean and will help it heal faster. It's better to hold it in place for about a minute. STEP 5: Let it form a scab .Whatever you do, you must let it form a scab. Don't add any cream on it because there's a risk of it getting infected again. The scab will eventually fall off. When it does, only a small, almost invisible mark will be left. Overall Tips %26 Warnings
After a scab forms, feel free to put some blush on it (ladies) to hide it a little. Do NOT forget to wash your hands.
Make sure that the scissors are clean! Do NOT put any cream on the area after it's been popped! DO NOT CUT OFF THE PIMPLE AT THE BOTTOM!! IT WILL HURT AND IT WILL BLEED MORE. Do NOT pick off the scab because it will bleed and it will have a risk of getting infected again. Do NOT use the same tissue for wiping off the puss and wiping off the blood!

14 Ways to Get Rid of Acne
Whether you're a teen or an adult with acne, you don't have to simply put up with it. Here are 14 ways to get rid of acne.
1. Don't pick, press, rub, or otherwise manipulate your pimples. If you do, you risk spreading the bacteria and increasing the chances of scarring.2. Use an over-the-counter product containing benzoyl peroxide once or twice a day. It helps break up the plug of dead skin cells, bacteria, and oil that clogs the pore and forms an acne blemish. And it cuts down on the bacteria, too. Start with the lowest concentration, and work your way up.3. Try over-the-counter products containing sulfur or resorcinol, which help unplug oil glands by irritating the skin. However, most dermatologists believe that benzoyl peroxide is the most effective over-the-counter ingredient for acne.4. Don't just spot-treat acne; put the product on acne-prone areas, too. That can include your entire face (avoid the lips and eyes), back, and chest.5. Go easy on your face. Washing removes oils from the surface of the skin, not from within the plugged ducts. In fact, if you're too aggressive in your quest for cleanliness, you may end up drying out or irritating the sensitive skin on your face.6. Wash properly once or twice a day, using a mild soap, and rub lightly with your fingertips and warm water. If your skin is oily, use a soap with benzoyl peroxide for its drying properties.7. Don't use brushes, rough sponges, cleansers with granules or walnut hulls, or anything similar on the delicate facial skin. 8. Don't use oily products, such as hair pomades, heavy oil-based facial moisturizers, or oily cleansers.9. Use water-based make-up.10. Don't get a facial. You may end up doing more harm than good.11. Don't rest your chin on your hands or constantly touch your face.12. Protect your skin from cancer and wrinkles without aggravating your acne by choosing an oil- free sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher.13. Don't worry about what you eat, unless you notice a correlation between a particular food and your skin breaking out.14. Watch out for iodine, which can be found in multiple vitamins and iodized salt. Some doctors believe iodine may encourage acne. all the best

Acne has nothing to do with what you eat but everything to do with your oil in the pores of your skin. Some acne is just too severe to be treated by over the counter remedies. If you dermatologist prescribed something and you feel it did not work, did you give it enough time? Some of those prescriptions creams will make your skin worse before it gets better and you have to wait several months before you see the results you want. Did you follow good skin care regime in that time? No harsh scrubbing, picking or popping the pimples. the oil actually gets imbedded deeper into the skin when you do that and scarring can occur. Try following up with the dermatologist again or find a new one if you want but give it enough time to truly know that that way wan't helping. Take it from me, bad acne takes months to years to resolve. hang in there. It can get better but usually with profesional help only.

No dermatologist, and no chemical stuff on the skin, try Coconut water (no coconut but only water) regularly for a month in hot summer, and 2 times a month in cold climatic conditions. thanks.

How can I get rid of my autism?

I'm autistic, and I really hate it. I've been diagnosed as autistic since 2002. I'm trying to get rid of it, but my autism just won't let me. Any tips.
Answer:
Hi,Pl.do not worry you are not alone Autism occurs in approximately 1 out of every 500 people. With the current population, it is estimated that there are about 1.5 million persons with autism in WorldAutism is a spectrum disorder. Also known as ASD, autism is a developmental and bio-neurological disorder. The medical treatment for autism is as follows. The aim of treatment is to enable the person鈥檚 potential to develop, minimize disruptive behaviors (by attending to the underlying causes for the behavior) and to include the person effectively in mainstream society. In order to achieve this, the treatment approach is multi-faceted. Treatment modalities suggested are:
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) The TEACH method (Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children)The CFGF diet (Casein- Free, Gluten- Free diet)Vitamin /Mineral therapyThe LOVAAS method THE DELACATO methodSensory Integration TherapyPECS (picture exchange communication system) Use of social stories Use of facilitated communication Each method has something to offer. However the condition calls for an eclectic approach to treatment that combines biomedical, sensory integration therapies and learning paced at the person鈥檚 level. The person鈥檚 needs and abilities must outweigh the selection of any one specific methodology.Early intervention with parents, understanding and empathizing with their person鈥檚 condition, and helping him through his sensory difficulties are vital.Caregivers may focus on changing the outward behaviours, which are socially inappropriate. They need information which enables them to understand the underlying deep sensory need that finds expression only through these behaviours.Enjoy LifeDr.Mojo
learn to deal with it... be like "brain man"
One of the biggest achievements is acknowledgment and I salute you for that. I am not a doctor but i have read up on the subject and its not treatable at the present time. It says that you can manage it very well and you will just have to live with it for the time being until something new comes along like a breakthrough. By the way it is not a mental disease from what I read. Hang in there bro alot of advances are over the horizon.I wish you the very best my friend and God Bless.
what's autism? sorry, i dont know this stuff... im only 12 you know!!
I would try the gluten-free, casein-free diet. It made all the difference in the world for my children when nothing else seemed to help. Check out the DAN! protocol too.I would also consider AIT. Check out the Georgianna Institute. Good luck!

How can I get rid of a cold by Friday?

I'm sooo clueless....It's my Birthday tomorrow and I have a freakin cold and I'm supposed to be partyin for my Birthday on Friday sooo what can I do to get rid of it by then? Please HELP i hate bein sick!!!
Answer:
Chances are you won't.
When I feel the symptoms of a cold/flu coming on I use Thera Flu.
Flavor isn't the greatest nor is it the worse.
When you mix it in as hot a water as you can stand, you need to drink it as quickly as you can.
I then go to bed and really bundle up good with my blankets and sometime during the night I begin to sweat and if I can keep my blankets on during the "sweat",usually by morning I feel much better.
Drinking alot of liquids helps too.(Clear liquids. . .water,
sodas and maybe some jello)
It has been proven that even Chicken Noodle soup has it's own healing abilities as well. Good Luck
Try and get a ZPak(sp?). If you can't, drink lots of fluids and get lots of rest. Sleep, sleep, sleep. I know it's boring, but do it. Your body needs rest. Also take your vitamins. I hate being sick too..totally sucks! Just got over it last week. Hope you feel better and have a great birthday!

How can i get rid of blackheads on my nose?

they're huge! i need something that really works and fast. any possible way. and please answer i don't want any comments unless necessary. thank you.
Answer:
Sandpaper, borax and steel wool. repeat for best results and don't forget the gauze and goofy nose glasses.
Well, I usually burn or liquid nitrogen them off. If that doesn't work, go to your local hardware store and purchase a buzz saw.
have the same issue just have to wash your face more often
Try an astringent with salicylic acid in it. You could also try Biore Pore strips. Hope this helps!
You can use oxygen that clean the blackheads!
Try "Biore Pore Perfect strips" .... they work really great!
Try Biore strips. They are in a green box. You wet the area with warm water, place the strip on the area very snug and about ten mins later pull the strip off. This may hurt your depending on how much pain you can handle. It is no worse than a brow wax.
order proactive... or maybe they sell them at a stand at your local mall

How can i get more energy without sleeping napping and or eating?

i m stuck to going to work and cleaning my house! how can i get more energy! thankx y all!
Answer:
diet, diet, diet.......and lots of water.
More B Complex vitamins or foods.
Change your schedule before you burn yourself out. You NEED to eat and sleep. Get a good nights rest and eat healthy!
the more you exercise, themore you will feel like being active.
its really just a balance of everything you naturally do in your day and getting into a rhythm. But there's always coffee, and if you're not into that, really cold water....drink it and splash a little on the back of your neck. it could also be a mind over matter thing. if you just keep focused on what you're doing and not even give any thought to being tired or exhausted, then you just kind of forget.
Increase your energy by working out. After a good workout and refreshing shower, I feel absolutely revitalized and energized.
exercise 3 or 4 times a week will rev u up and have more energy because it releases serotonin in u brain and Kellog products just put a new protein drink on the market with 5 gms.of protein a bottle. much better than sugary drinks.
You need a better plan, not sleeping or eating shouldn't be part of it.A healthy body needs both.Food is like gas for a car, need to add more when the tank is low,or it will stop dead in its tracks. Sleep and rest is also critical for health and well being, its like a battery, when you run the battery down, you have to re-charge them in order to work again. Try to do a few household chores a day,or wait til you have an off day.I work 12 hour nights, and I clean like crazy one or two days to get all the big stuff done, then do a little pick-up work,so things stay neat etc.when I'm working. Take care. SW RNP

How can i get info on blod sugar levels?

Answer:
A doctor (endocrinologist) or registered dietitian can help you determine what blood sugar levels you should try to maintain.
If you are diabetic, you need to test your blood often, before and after meals to learn how foods affect your blood sugar levels.
There are many devices available to test you blood sugar, and a lot of them are either covered by insurance. Ask your Dr. or nurse.
google

YOUR DOCTOR HAS MOST LIKELY GOT THE INFO THAT YOU NEED. ALL HOSPITALS HAVE A DIABETIS CLINIC THAT YOU CAN GO GET ALL OF THE INFO THAT YOU COULD EVER WANT. DID YOU ALSO KNOW THAT YOUR DOCTOR, THROUGH LAB WORK CAN TELL YOU WHAT YOUR BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS HAVE BEEN FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS? GOING TO YOUR LOCAL HOSPITAL IS YOUR BEST BET.

How can i get better tonned muscles?

I'm 6 feet 165 pounds i currently go to the gym everyday except for sundays. i see a little definition in my arms and chest, but i want to see more. Are there any supplements besides whey or soy protein that helps one recieve better results when looking at the mirror? Thanks
Answer:
Please take some of the k's out of your name, are you a member of the KKK? Anyway, try more reps in the gym with a little less weight than you use. Focus on form. If you are trying to get stronger too, have a light and a heavy day, like you do 5 sets of 12 on a light day or whatever, and on a heavy day do 4 sets of 8 to 6, or pyramid. How much body fat do you have? Fat covers our muscles i.e. abs. Reduce fat intake, and up the cardio. And for supplements take creatine, but im not totally sure about it. I used to play college football, so i know, but youre body builds muscle when at rest. Take a day off and dont over work the muscles or muscle group 2 days in a row. it takes time too. Last suggestion, try diffferent workouts to hit the muscle in a different way and do cardio before you work out.
I assume you are already working out with weights, etc. Just keep at it and maybe try more sets with longer reps. Also, eat more protein, such as meat, legumes and beans. Proteins are the natural builders of muscle and is definitely needed to build better tone. You might also wants to ask a personal trainer. Most would be willing to give you some advice without charge. Avoid chemicals such as steroids at all cost. Good Luck and here's looking at you, kkkkkkkid.
Okay i dont think any of the comment's above will help you if you workout more you'll probaly look more "FAT" than build the trick is to have LESS bodyfat % for men you have to be under 10% bodyfat if you want to get very defined body shape like those arm's bicep's and side delt's but if you have "FAT" stored u wont see them unless you flex and we all know how boy's want to look toned when when they are NOT flexing or watso ever Here test you bodyfat % http://www.linear-software.com/online.ht... if you have it under 10% good luck if not get on diet try to eat non fat food

How can I get a thinner neck(under chin)?

I have a little fat under my chin, and I would like 2 get RID of it. Yeah I know I have 2 drink water water %26 more water, but what else can I do?? Thanx
Answer:
Use better posture. Try this easy exercise - lay on the floor flat on your back. Press the back of your head straight back against the floor for a count of 10 %26 then release. Also, you can try sleeping with no pillow, or just a thin pillow - this helps correct for the usual "head forward" posture that happens during every day (especially if you spend a lot of time on the computer). You can go to a physiotherapist for more specific posture excercises.
i think if you excercise more than you will eventually loose it!! I mean mine just went away... no clue how!! Good Luck!!
Try working out, my little pouch went away when I started to work out.
There is little to do other than loose weight and hope for it to go away. I have heard about exercises of the neck to have more flexibility and strenght but not really about getting rid of the under chin.....then again my older brother used to tell me that if you chew gum or make the movements of chewing you reduce it but I never look it up or found anyone else to approve of it!!!Good luck though, hope my brother is right on this one!!!
you can't really choose a spot on your body that you'll like to lose weight in,then try working it out, especially the neck.if that was possible, then people would chose to lose weight around their waiste but not on their butt and breasts, unfortunately that's not possible,if you want to lose weight in a certain area, your best bet would be to lose weight completely.so in your case
if you really would like to lose weight in that area, then you
basically need to eat right, and excersize, then
you'll lose weight over all through out your
whole body, not just in one spot.
Do this exercise: bend you head forward, count til three, then bend it backward and count three. Repeat ten times. Also turn your head to the right then to the left ten times. This with losing weight should fix the problem.

How can i get rid of the redness i have on my face?

i had a pimple on my cheek and like idk it was small, but now its got like alot of redness around it and it looks terrible i need some help how can i get rid of the redness as soon as possible?
Answer:
Is the pimple itself gone now? The redness in the area is most likely just the result of increased blood supply to heal the previously infected and injured skin, and will fade as it heals. If you still have the pimple, it's providing white blood cells to fight the infection, and the redness is from that increased blood supply to the area. Either way, the redness will solve itself and there isn't much you can or should do. Keep the face clean and use a mild antiseptic like witch hazel, and possibly a drop of tea tree oil to help heal and sooth the skin. Keep your hands off the area otherwise, and it will heal faster. How fast it fades depends on how fast you heal, and the more you mess with it the longer that will take. Sorry, there isn't an instant cure. If you are male, you might consider taking it easy on shaving that area until it does heal. If you are female, go easy on the makeup and go without if possible. Avoid the concealers, they just aggrivate things.
Is the redness Acne or maybe Rosacea? Do a google search and see what to do for those conditions.
Did you scratch it? It may be infected. Dab it with alcohol. If it doesn't go away, see your doctor.

How can I gain total whiteness for my skin? What products or capsules can I in-take?

You know here on my place, brown complexions are being discriminated. So tha'ts why I am searching how can i be that too white. please suggest to me any ways on how i can attain that dream.
Answer:
Stop being a foolish, mindless drone, a follower of the stupidity that swallows your "place" and do think for yourself. Just try listening to the stuff that comes out of you (discrimination based on skin color is nothing new, but it does NOT mean it should be condoned) and you'll be appalled if you really give it a good look. It's stupidity beyond belief. I don't even know what to say.
Ask Michael Jackson. He seems to be pretty successful.
That is a sick, sick dream. Why don't you ask Michael Jackson how he did it?

How can I found about a Surgeon's background; for example, any malpractice suits or suspensions.?

Ideally, I would also like to be able to check his rate of success in his should replacement surgeries. Any help is appreciated.
( I already know about the AMA %26 BBB ) Thank You !
Answer:
just get him alone in a bar with low lighting and lots of ambiance, reach across and grab him by the pocket protector and look him square in the eyes and say...alright, there's just somethin' i gotta know about you before we go any further..."What is your background, any malpractice suits or suspensions.? What is your rate of success in shoulder replacement surgeries? And, this better be the truth, or I'm blowin' this joint (so to speak)"that should do it. he should be very honest with you at that point. oh, and it wouldn't hurt to wear something a little low-cut and slightly on the trashy side.if that doesn't work because he's a little shy...or he's gay, you can go to this site and look up the state medical board in the state he is in and find out everything you need to know...and maybe some stuff you didn't want to know... http://www.fsmb.org/directory_smb.html...oh, and some doctors will provide you with a list of satisfied patients upon request, but i think that is only in third world countries. and, you'll need to know a foreign language...so, study up!
You will find no data on his surgical success in replacements unless you ask the doctor or his patients. You will however; find that any board complaint, malpractice is public information and can be found on the website of the medical board of examiners in your state. If any professional infraction has occured to a doctor it will be posted and stay with the doctor forever.
I know the connecticut department of public health posts something like malpractices agains doctors on their website if you search by doctors name. Perhaps other departments of health have this or you could contact them.
not sure what you have where your from but we have a site where you can go and rate doctors.you just type in [ratemd.com] and in there it's doctors from all over the and if his [doc] name isn't in there just add it and people will rate him.

How can i find out if i have had chicken pox in the past?

Answer:
get a blood test
ask family member or you family doctor
One way is to get copies of your medical records. If your parents are still alive you can also ask them.
Ask your doctor. It should be on your notes.
I only know because my parents know. I imagine your parents or the caregivers which were responsible for you as a young child (too young for many memories clearly) would know and you could simply ask them. If you can't ask them well .... I guess you won't know unless you catch it.
if no one in your family knows your dr or health visitor would probably know or check for little scars
Ask the one who lives with you from childhood

How can I find an oncologist who's willing to prescribe dichloroacetate 'off protocol' for a cancer patient?

Dichloroacetate (DCA) is the big buzz for cancer right now, and is used on patients for the treatment of lactic acidosis.
I have a person with gallbladder and liver cancer who would like to try DCA, as there is no treatment for her cancer. Since DCA is a legal drug, a doctor can prescribe it 'off protocol' or for use other than that specified--- or so I understand. I need to find an oncologist or doctor who uses DCA who will be willing to work with this patient. PLEASE.

How can I find a GP that specialises in the health problems I suffer from?

I suffer from hypothyroidism and vulvodynia and my current doctor, though competent, is not very informative or sympathetic. I'm also not that comfortable being examined by him, but there is no female doctor at the practice and I don't want to change doctors without knowing I'm going to someone better. Any suggestions? Is there another way to get access to womens health services?
Answer:
GP stands for General Practitioner so finding one who actually specialises in anything is unlikely. You could try to find a GP who's sympathetic and interested in your condition by asking your specialist for a recommendation. Remember, you'll be limited in which GPs you can attend because most only serve certain areas so finding someone you're comfortable with and who's willing to research your conditions is probably a more realistic aim. Many GP practices operate a well woman clinic that specialise in women's health problems and give patients the opportunity to see a female GP or practice nurse. If your practice has this service you could try it to see if it suits you better. If your practice doesn't operate a well women clinic you could phone your local health board and find a surgery that does offer that service, and you'll probably find the GPs there are more geared towards women's health issues. A female practice nurse may be able to recommend a female GP at a nearby survey so it may be worth chatting to them.Good luck!
You can't that's why they're called General practitioners, you need to see a specialist for a specific condition.
i'm in belfast and we have what is known as " well woman clinic's " you might have tham were you areor get your doctor to send you to someone who deal's with it
Some GPs do list their special interests on their practice leaflets. Most of us do have some area of special expertise, but that information is generally not published.
hi
my doctors favorit saying is "it came itself it will go itself"?

How can i determine that i hv diabete???

are they any DIY way to check that i hv any DIABETE???
Answer:
Some symptoms of diabetes include:Frequent urination
Excessive thirst
Extreme hunger
Unusual weight loss
Increased fatigue
Irritability
Blurry vision
Of you have one or more of these symptoms, or aer concerned at all that you might have diabetes, see your doctor right away. Your doctor can perform teh necessary testing (typically a Glucose Tolerance Test, which will show how your body metabolizes glucose; a Hemoglobin A1c, which will indicate your average glucose level over the past few months; and a Serum Glucose test, which will show your glucose level at the time of testing), and prescribe the necessary treatment. A Serum glucose test (aka a Blood Sugar TEst) can be done at home with a glucose monitor and strips, but this alone is not a truly reliable diagnostic tool by itself, as your glucose level in a random test can be affected by many variables (stress, what and when you last ate, etc.). A high reading can indicate suspicion of diabetes, but the testing done by the doctor will diagnose the problem. Hope this helps!
You need to see a doc if you think you may have diabetes. There is no reliable way to do this at home.
only a blood test by your doctor will tell you for sure. There are some things which occur commonly in diabetics (you pee and drink a lot) but these things may also be caused by other things, not necessarily a disease. Have you noticed musty odor from your mouth? (also common in diabetics)
lightheadedness, fatigue - also very non specific
You should see a doctor, b/c many people find out that they have diabetes after they loose consciousness and are brought to the emergency room - very bad and dangerous way to learn that you're a diabetic
See a physician. More than likely he'll ask you to do a 12 hour fast, after which the lab tech will take a blood sample. If the glucose level in your blood is higher than a certain level, the physician will go from there. Good luck.
You can purchase Glucose meter and test your blood sugar yourself.
A range of 4 to 7 mmol/l (72 to 126 mg/dl) before a meal is normal.
A level of %26lt; 10 mmol/l (180 mg/dl) 90 minutes after a meal is normal.
A range of 7 to 8 mmol/l (126 to 144 mg/dl) at bedtime is normal.
After a 12 hour fast, a range of 3.9 to 6.5 mmol/l (70.2 to 117 mg/dl) is normal. (a level of 6.7 to 7 mmol/l (120.6 to 126 mg/dl) is considered a sign of prediabetes)
Please see the web pages for more details on Glucometer and Glucose test.
If you have diabetes that is untreated there would be an elevated level of sugar/glucose in your blood. A blood test ordered by your doctor could determine the amount of sugar in your blood at any point in time. Normally unless the sugar is greatly elevated the doctor would also ask you to take a glucose tolerance test.
If it is type I diabetes there would likely be be ketones in the urine. This occurs because if the body cannot metabolize the glucose from food it will burn fat from the body and produce glucose as well as toxins as a result.
Some times a person has an elevated blood sugar but doesn't have diabetes... yet! This is called Glucose intolerance. The term prediabetes is not accepted medically. If a person has glucose intolerance he is at higher risk for developing diabetes but can change things regarding the types, frequency, and amount of food he/she eats as well as exercise regularly and lose weight if overweight. All these things can prevent or postpone the onset of diabetes. If you do have diabetes you are not alone. By 2020 it is estimated that 25% of the population of Canada will have diabetes. Only half of them will actually know it.
The best and most accurate way is to see a doctor and have the proper blood work done. Diabetes is not a disease you should self diagnose or self medicate. Your health and life are too important to not take care of, so please see yor doctor.
Here's some general information about DIABETES--Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) and other symptoms. The World Health Organization recognizes three main forms of diabetes: type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes (occurring during pregnancy),[1] which have similar signs, symptoms, and consequences, but different causes and population distributions. Type 1 is usually due to autoimmune destruction of the pancreatic beta cells which produce insulin. Type 2 is characterized by tissue-wide insulin resistance and varies widely; it sometimes progresses to loss of beta cell function. Gestational diabetes is similar to type 2 diabetes, in that it involves insulin resistance; the hormones of pregnancy cause insulin resistance in those women genetically predisposed to developing this condition.
Early symptoms are related to hyperglycemia and include polydipsia (excessive thirst), polyphagia (excessive hunger and abnormally large intake of solids by mouth), and polyuria (excessive urination). Later complications include vascular disease, peripheral neuropathy, and predisposition to infection. Diagnosis is by measuring plasma glucose (blood sugar). Treatment is diet, exercise, and drugs that reduce glucose levels, including insulin and oral antihyperglycemic drugs. Prognosis varies with degree of glucose control. Hyperglycemia is high blood glucose. Symptoms are--
Frequent urination
Excessive thirst
Extreme hunger
Unusual weight loss
Increased fatigue
Irritability
Blurry vision
Hypoglycemia is low blood glucose. Symptoms are--
Sweating and palpitations
Pale skin
Hunger - to the extreme
Trembling
Irritability
Anxiety/aggression
Poor concentration
Feelings of faintness/dizziness
Loss of consciousness
Death
Normal blood glucose ranges from 70-110. Anything below 70...hypo..anything above 110..hyper.
In the US, about 90% of diabetics are type II and 10% are type I.
And here's what you can do about it--According to recent studies conducted by the Pritikin Longevity Center, diabetes starts from too much fat in the diet and insufficient exercise, not malfunction of the pancreas as previously thought. The pancreas continues to produce insulin when you have diabetes but the body becomes insulin resistant. Research has shown that over 90% of diabetes cases can be TOTALLY CORRECTED with diet and exercise. That means that you don't have to have limbs removed due to diabetes-induced gangrene. You don't have to go blind or suffer cardiovascular abnormalities because of diabetes. You can actually REVERSE some of these conditions with diet (nutrition, not weight loss) and exercise, and the removal of parasites and candida.Watch the 8-minute non-profit video http://www.rawfor30days.com/view.html... , about diabetes diet.
Best of luck.
There are several warning signs to look out for which include increased thirst, can't get enough to eat, frequent urination and many others. If you think that you may have this, then you need to see a medical professional and let them do the GTT, glucose tolerance test on you and this will let them have an accurate diagnosis of Diabetes or not, this test, you will have to do without having had anything to eat or drink after midnight the night befor the lab is done. They will either do a 1-hour or a 3-hour just depending on the symptoms or feelings that you are experienciing when you go. Diabetes is a serious disease and if you think that you have it, please go to your doctor and get tested. Better safe than sorry, and you might not have it at all.
check your symptoms. weakness, increase thirst, a change in appetitie, fruity odor from mouth and etc.. you can look up the symptoms online. also you can go to the doctor and get your AC1 checked to see what your blood sugar has been over the past couple months..
