How can I get rid of the dots on my nose?

I went to a dermatologist, and she saild they were hair follicles, NOT blackheads. The black dots are the most visible, but if I look closely, I can see little hairs on the surface. She said I could only "diminish" their appearance by using retinol. I exfoliate and use Biore pore strips regularly, which helps take away the fuzz, but the black dots (I'm guessing the root of the follice) are always there. I'm thinking about going to a facialist or getting laser hair removal/electrolysis, but I really don't know what is the best solution. What can I do?
Answer:
Laser treatments would probably work best. Electrolysis is very painful.
You're special the way God made you. By the way, I'm always anal about having clean pores, and I think everyone is going to be able to see how gross my face is sometimes, but the fact of the matter is that we scrutinize ourselves much more than anybody else (unless you are a fashion model or something). Looking in the mirror, you are seeing things so much closer than practically anybody else. So, relax, everything is probably fine. Just be happy to be yourself; I'm sure you are a beautiful girl when you get the frown off your face about the hair follicles!
