High Chloresterol?

What foods can I eat to help lower my chloresterol?
Answer:
Oily and other fish, red meat occasionally, chicken (no skin) plenty of fruit and vegetables, brown rice and brown pasta, wholemeal bread, low cholesterol margarine (low in saturates), no more than four eggs a week, vegetarian cheese. Avoid potato crisps, fried foods (always grill or steam).Limit prawns and avoid corned beef and any other fatty meats.Oh dear! I forgot, the Nurse at our Doctor's practice had a big list. Suggest you call on yours! Good Luck.
Oatmeal Fruits and Vegetables Fibre cereals
Oatmeal and things with lots of whole grains. Like whole wheat bread, etc. I recommend staying away from things like red meat, and food high in fat and/or cholesterol.
A Mediterranean diet is always a safe diet for cholesterol. Eat plenty of fruit, (whole) pasta and bread, vegetable, olive oil, fish, little meat (white and very rarely red), low fat yogurt and cheese. Try to reduce caffeine too, because it is not good for cholesterol.
Good luck.
oatmeal or Cheerios, oatmeal,Cheerios lower bad Chloresterol
Try don't eat things that contian chloresterol, eat a normal meal meat potatoes and veg
oat meal and cheerios
non fat and lowfat dairy products, avoid saturated and trans fat,eat soy proteins and grains
You should eat at least five different fruits a day .And eat more bran and pulses plus a low fat diet
Be careful with the amount of meat you eat, as well as fatty foods like butter and cheese. I switched to "Take Control" spread and I think it made a big difference. Eat turkey bacon instead of pork. Exercise helps lower it as well, stay as active as possible. Eat fruits and vegetables. Avoid saturated fats (fried foods, cream cheese, whole milk, meat) and eat mono or poly unsaturated fats (nuts, seeds, fish, soy) because they raise the good and lower the bad cholesterol.
Good luck!!
Less saturated and transfats, more unsaturated (mono and poly) fats, more fiber. And you may need medicines too.Read the book, "Hidden causes of Heart Attack and Stroke" by Christian Wilde, a review of which is available at http://swamyreviews.blogspot.com...scroll to the third book from the top. The book is a treasure house of reliable information on heart health and includes treatment options.
MORE Mono and Polyunsaturated fats??????????????
WHEN THESE ARE THE EXACT SAME FATS FOUND IN THE ATHEROMAS UP TO 80 PERCENT
SATURATED FAT MAKES UP ONLY 20 PERCENTFats make up a small percentage in atherosclerosis BUT oOUT OF THE FATS 80 PERCENT ARE UNsaturated I HAVE DIRECTLY SHOWN YOU FALSE
ANTHONY COLPO PEOPLE NOT THE GUY ABOVE
ANTHONY COLPO IS RELIABLE
porridge oats apparently, but think plenty of exercise is the best remedy
Think fresh fruit and veggies. Lean portions of meat. Preferably grilled or baked. That's what I tell my patients. You could also make an appointment with a dietitian. Insurance usually covers the cost.
CHOLESTEROL ca be lowered by1. Avoidance of all saturated fat intake eg. animal fat etc. etc.2. Consuming foodstuffs low in oils and fats which many answerers above have highlighted .3.The latest medication STATINS are very effective. The latest belief is that , in appropriate dosage , it can even remove recently deposited cholesterol plaques (still to be proved).Good Luck.
